Morning Sunlight

Morning Sunlight on the run –

Kissing buds when night is done,

Traipsing barefoot in the dew,

Dancing dainty slippers through

Meadows carpeted with lace;

Enchanted, Sunlight runs its race

To outrun Time in boisterous dance;

The morrow grants her another chance…

    I’m afraid time outran me today, Melody! Lovely thought though. Wouldn’t it be great to go dancing through life?
