Those days will come –
and then they’ll go,
with notable precision;
The rain will fall,
the wind will blow,
destroy what you envision.
But soon the sky
will tire of tears,
her raindrops’ stores depleted;
the sun will glow
with cheer once more,
and gloom will be defeated.
It’s wonderful how God in nature so quickly manipulates our mood. Thanks for this!
There are so many lessons for us if we are looking for them. Thanks Stephen!
Thanks for this my friend! It’s been ages, I don’t know how I’ve been missing your posts! I love this poem, it spoke to me. Can I have your permission to use it for a short story I’m writing for a competition? If not that’s fine. But If you do agree, I’ll be grateful. Thanks!
Blessings. 🙂
That’s fine, Sandra. It HAS been ages! I haven’t been writing much or reading much lately, I’m afraid…
Thanks Melody, I’ve been busy too, I noticed I’ve not seen your poems for a while but I love the ones I’d read so far. I’ll let you know when I use your poem!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend my friend!
Blessings. 🙂
