I Am But One

I am but One, in crowded sea, carving place for I in We; struggling hard to balance Two, converting Me, to augment You.

Melody, what a great analogy for needing space and company.

We are complex critters, aren’t we – needing so many different things at different times!

Melody, I nominated you for an Illuminating Blog Award at http://ivonprefontaine.wordpress.com/2012/08/28/illuminating-blog-award/. There really are not any rules. I posted and thanked the person who nominated me, but there is no obligation.

    Take care,

    Ivon

Thank you so much Ivon for your continued support and encouragement! I have recently made the decision to regretfully not accept any more awards – they take me too much time, now that I am back to school! I need to be Mom and teacher first, and that is one way I can pare things back.

I am feeling something similar as I head back into the classroom. I want to do a good job at what I do and time is at a premium.

There are so many demands, aren’t there? As much as I’d love to be Super, I have to hang up my cape and admit my frailties!

I love how the blue of the flowers echo the blue of the garden furniture. I hear a lovely echo in the poem too. ~ Wendy

That’s neat how you picked out those details for yourself! 🙂

Thank you Stacie – but due to time restrictions, I am no longer accepting awards. I really appreciate your nomination, however, and your visits and comments. Happy writing!

This is another one to ponder. Or not–maybe I should just rest and enjoy it!! God bless you–love, Caddo

      Thinking is highly overrated…

      1. Caddo Veil

Amen to that (she said, cynically)!
