A cross between you and he –

A mixture of purple and white –

Pink baby makes three!

Does anyone remember Thrills gum – the one that tastes like soap?  Well, these lamiums (spotted dead-nettles) always remind me of that product because they are exactly the Thrills shade of purple.  I bought a few plants and the next year, some cropped up self-seeded, blooming white!  Sometimes seed doesn’t always run ‘true’ and it reverts to an earlier strain.  By the year after that, the purple and white had crossed – and now I have pink as well!  Some garden surprises are good ones…
