Wow – more!  Twins, in fact!

Once again my nominator for the Beautiful Blogger Award has come out with a double portion of blessings in adding 2 additional awards!  I so appreciate the support of  the folks – er, animals –  at Hutch a Good Life for nominating me.  It is indeed an honor to have your writing recognized and appreciated like this.  What an encouragement!

Almost simultaneously, this same award was bestowed by Ivon at Teacher as Transformer.  He writes on a variety of subjects but more often on topics of particular use and interest to fellow educators.  Thank you Ivon!

Both awards request that you post a link to the person who gave you the award and the award symbol. They also both ask for us to reveal seven things about ourselves that you might not know, so here they are:

1  The only trophy I have ever earned was for marksmanship with a rifle!  (Does that make you more anxious than ever to ‘like’ my poetry?  *wicked grin*)

2  I love the colour yellow – just like sunshine!

3 My garden is truly my ‘happy place’!

5 I take far too much pleasure in killing the cutworms I find in my garden.  *evil maniacal laugh*

6 I am a Primary teacher.

7 Hubby and I will be celebrating 20 years of marriage this month!

    Ok, miss energizer bunny! You need to slow down a bit! I am busy for a couple of days and you get a thousand awards and do a million posts? What are you eating? Are you sure you’re one of us?
    Jokes aside, I am so happy for you and I send you my warm thoughts and I also congratulate you for all this wonderful recognition. You deserve every bit of it and I’m glad people see that.

      I hit phases when I need to write – and then I slow down again. But poetry is not like your blog – you have to find all the photos and organize your thoughts. I only have to choose a picture I’ve taken that day in my garden and write a few words to match it – so they don’t compare very well! But I am LOVING to express myself through poetry – what a delicious surprise! I never knew that it could be so much fun. I haven’t written a lot of it before. So it is a lovely piece of the puzzle to rebuilding ME and it is so good to find who I really am! Yay!

        But I must disagree with you on that remark that poetry is easier than what I do. It takes a lot of creativity and a heart made for poetry. I could never do that,
