Waves innumerable, crashing
Surf interminable, dashing
Pebbles ad infinitum
Wild in mashed delirium,
Perpetual friction,
Agitation’s diction,
Grinding rock to sand,
Beauty’s Neverland.

The processes which created the tranquility of this beach were far from tranquil. Let the lesson of the beach give your heart hope!
WOW, this is amazing, Melody! By now, you probably know that “the beach” is the only place I want to be–now and forever. I so appreciate you pointing out that all that beauty did not come by way of tranquility–and so, my own? Yes–Amen!! God bless you abundantly–love, sis Caddo
It is a very poignant lesson – geology brimming over into theology…
Well, it was very helpful and meaningful to me–I guess I’d never thought about it (too busy escaping, when I’m at the beach).
I had a different kind of escape this time – my eyes saw unusual things in unusual ways. I took lots of photos – and believe that they are much different than any I have ever taken on vacation before. My daughter’s wonderful influence!
Oooh, wonderful–I LOVE your photos (and everything else–like I said, I’m a hopeless fan, you’re stuck with me for the duration).
This is marvelous. Well done, Melody.
Thank you Lori! 🙂
Melody, beauty is in your eyes. Check this out http://gladiuspoeticus.wordpress.com/2012/08/23/strandkeien/
So lovely! Truly, beauty lies in what our hearts can glean from the simple things around us.
This post makes a certain seaman mom very jealous and proud at the same time. I should be able to come up with this kind of wonderful pictures of water and sand considering my lifestyle but I’m happy my dear friend does the job instead, as she’s doing it way better than I could ever 🙂 You’ve got “the nose” for this stuff, Melody, I absolutely love this picture!
Thanks for your constant support, my lovely friend. It feels good to know you are always by my side 🙂
Hugs and kisses
Always – and if dreams come true, we will meet one day! 🙂
I love all your coastline photos! We’re actually getting ready to go on vacation and they’ve helped to put me in the right frame of mind!
Keep your eyes open – there is so much to refresh the spirit in unexpected places! Have fun!
Thank you, Melody! You take us to Neverland, for sure.
🙂 Thanks for your presence here today – a little ray of light!
If we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another…
Indeed – Amen to that! I sent you a rather lengthy email tonight – I’d love to know what you think of my ideas! 🙂
Melody, I’m going to respond to your email shortly.
Thank you!
Maria
