I have nominated you for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award, Beautiful Blogger Award, Super Sweet Blogger Award and Inspiring Blog Award. I found your blog beautiful and you do inspire me in many ways so i believe you deserve this, too.
Wow – I am so very honored. Thank you so much, Mack! I have recently begun to decline accepting awards – this was a difficult decision for me, as I don’t like to disappoint anyone, and truly am honored when I am nominated! I find that it takes a lot of time and energy that I don’t have, now that I am back at my job. But I do appreciate your nominations, and wish you the very best in your writing! It is nice to learn more about you on this post!
a very long time ago, i went to high school in the Maine Wilderness on the edge of a lake surrounded by mountains. the call of the loon was always magnified by echoes bouncing back and forth – sounds i’ll never forget.
What a lovely image–“notes fall to the ground”. Amazing, Melody.
Thank you!
Your poem and the photo are both so lovely and peaceful, Melody!
Thank you, Madilyn! There is absolutely nothing like a sunset over calm waters – it should be a prescribed medication! 🙂
Lovely Loon tune! The photo & the words transported me back to Lac Le Jeune near my hometown. ~ Wendy
Sounds like a beautiful place!
