The Scent of the Shore

The scent of the shore and a page on the breeze, Beauty that’s written in sand and in trees Washes ashore by the glint of the sun, Words of the ages, by Nature undone.

The scent of the shore and a page on the breeze,

Beauty that’s written in sand and in trees

Washes ashore by the glint of the sun,

Words of the ages, by Nature undone.

So lovely–I can feel the breeze, breathe the fragrance–“take me away”.

      I’ll book you a flight! 🙂

Not that I can actually go, but for daydreaming purposes, where IS it?

      2. melodylowes

Northern Saskatchewan – one of our National Parks called Waskesiu. It is a gorgeous spot!

      3. Caddo Veil

Ahhhh, yes your photos testify to the gorgeousness!!

    I smell it..

Me too – it would be lovely to bottle it up and go to the jar when real life presses in… 🙂

        Melody,
You are such a prolific writer…your poetry and pictures are piling up here on earth. The Lord must be so pleased by the way you are using your talents and gifts for Him. Be blessed today!

Aw, Glenda – you do my heart much good at so critical a moment! I thank our God for your words of encouragement and strength!

      3. Glenda Mills

Hmmm…don’t know what the criticial moment is all about, just know I will keep you in my prayers.
Isaiah 40:28-31…don’t know why but this verse comes to mind for you…one I’ve been posting a lot about lately. Blessings!

Reading a book on a tranquil beach, with the breeze through your hair and fingers, caressing your skin is such an amazing feeling! I wish I could experience that soon, Europe is not the place to just kick back and relax on a beach, there’s so much to do and see. And that’s too much, sometimes 🙂

To everything, there is a season, right? I am yearning for Europe just now – to see and taste and experience. My time will come – as will yours at the beach! Lovely to ‘see’ you today! 🙂

Oh, How I miss the ocean air! To feel the breezes coming off the sea. To smell the seaweed, the dew in the pines… Oh, how I miss the ocean air!

      Waxing poetic, are we? 🙂
