Oh goodness, “those” days! I love the line “in a pickle without the dill”, Melody. Prior to reading this, I had a very negative association with the “in a pickle” phrase (said to me by a church lady who had no empathy or grace)–so now I can say it with an impish grin!! Thank you so much–God bless you! love, Caddo
Well, it’s not very likely, Melody–but to “die laughing”? You can’t beat that!! Oh I meant to tell you something funny–I was on the phone with my cousin last week (St Theresa, in Texas), bemoaning the full moon issues to the extent that I “just wanted to die and go home to Heaven”. Well, Theresa’s both devout–and a tease. She said, “well, wouldn’t it be something if you got up there to Heaven, and saw 3 full moons!” It was hard to laugh that day–but I made a satisfactory effort. She’s really great about cheering me on during the rough times–always urges me to “tell that devil where to go!” God bless her!
It sure-’nuff is!! I’m in between church services at the moment–the comedian, Michael Jr, is entertaining and testifying–way cool, I laughed and cried. I don’t know if you’re familiar with him–(evidently he plays the circuit of comedy shows, & Leno, etc). I wasn’t, until last summer, when he visited at my online (Texas) church. Now, he’s moved his family from Hollywood–and they’re members at Gateway Church–way cool!!

Funny how associations color our worlds, isn’t it? Impish grins, now – those are welcome here!
I rejoice Every time the Lord turns a negative association into a Fun one–so this is a bonding moment with you, for me!!
Nice – now you’re stuck with me! ๐
Couldn’t be Happier!!! ‘Course, that sorta means you’re stuck with me too…
That’s okay – bondage – er, ‘bonding’ is fine with me! ๐
Oh dear, I laughed so hard I choked! No bondage–my tastes are terribly “vanilla”!
Ha! Vanilla it is! You be careful, now – I don’t want to be known for being the one who choked Caddo Veil to her early retirement from poetry! ๐ฆ
