The usual–poems and more poems, plus weekly Share Your World. Or were you asking about topics? I wasn’t able to write this weekend, so am scrambling tonight–not sure I like what’s scheduled for tomorrow–maybe I’m just tired. I have some “good stuff” coming up, so maybe I should just switch the dates. And I need food.
Ah, yes – food makes the world go round. And poets happy – even if it is a much-substituted ingredient meal! π Doesn’t it make a difference if there is a break in routine? *sigh* I sure have’t had the time “I would like to check out everyone’s blogs the past few days – I’ll get to them when I get to them, I guess!
Oh Melody, I’m so slow tonight–it took me 3 reads to get the “substituted ingred” comment!! Good grief, I can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to a “new day” in the morning. This has been a rare one–where every move I’ve made was off, significantly, and there might have been disastrous consequences (no melodrama, I’m serious). Anyway, I’m heating up the casserole I “created” yesterday–Italian Chicken Sausage, zucchini, onion, stuffing mix, cream of chick soup and some cheese and 3 eggs. It’s actually good–my neighbor loved it, ‘course he hadn’t eaten all day… He was up here most of the weekend, it seemed, so that interrupted my LIFE (writing, etc)–but I’ve been trying to be a “LIGHT” for him, so I’m hoping my sacrifice will have an eternal payoff. But it’s exhausting for sure.
What a beautiful shot, looking up at those white trunks, yellowing leaves and blue sky. Your poem then added to the wonder. This kind of snow I’m okay with! π God bless you!
Your words are pure magic, Melody–I LOVE this!!
(That’s the ‘good’ kind of magic, right?) π Thank you so much, my friend.
I think “pure” qualifies as “good”.
π What are you working on writing wise these days?

That’s because it is a spiritual output! I have had a day of cloudiness – tomorrow will be different! π
Cloudy, as in lack of clear inner vision? Sending up a prayer for “Sonshine”!
No – cloudy as in addle-brained! π Here’s to clear inner vision for the morrow!
Yeah, there’s a lot of that going around (“slow”, addle-brained)! Sending you a hug–I have extras!!
Hugs are in short supply in these parts – I’ll take it! π
I visualized this & it looks beautiful!
Thanks Rosy! π

ME too! Thanks Debbie!
Beautiful post!
Thanks Ellen!
Loved the image you convey it takes me back to long walks through the forest with my favorite dog .
Funny how images and words can do that – trigger an emotional response. I guess that`s the beauty and fascination of poetry! π
