Alone, but not lonely,
Single, but not secluded;
Mute, but not silent,
Amiss, but not deluded.
Singular, but not strange,
Particular, but not elusive;
Separate, but not a loner,
Private, but not exclusive.

This beautiful leaf stands alone, but somehow is still a part of the world around her. ย I find myself drawn to her individuality, charmed by the way she nonchalantly takes her place in her sphere…

I like this very much: all-in-one.
Thank you! ๐
Very good. It makes alone seem like such a good and comfortable place.
It’s almost like we need an affirmation to give us ‘permission’ to enjoy that space, isn’t it? Thanks Lyle.
Wonderful!
Thank you Maria! ๐
Marie Rose stole what I was about to say. So I’ll say Brilliant instead ๐
๐ I’ll take it!!
Oh gosh, Melody–beyond wonderful and beautiful!
You are so sweet, you know that?
I have my moments!
*cheeky grin*
This is a great one to think about and then apply to ourselves! Thanks for another poetry lesson with Melody!
Maybe I should branch off into the Poetry Business! ๐
