The Wall

Pain erects a snowy wall, a barrier that you must climb. To get to me, you’ll have to crawl around, or over, or in time your love must melt what hems me in, breathe warmth of hope in coldest heart; springtime grace where ice has been to help this chasm fall apart.

Wow, I loved this one, Melody! Great analogy! God bless and melt all He wants to in us!

I should always wait for her to get here ahead of me–then I wouldn’t have to think up a creative response! Okay, this is off-topic, but have you seen the movie, “Christmas Carol: the Movie”? It’s an animated version of the Dickens story, made in 2001–it’s been running on Cable for at least a month, but I really like it; and the final song is a haunting heart-grabber. So don’t listen to it unless you’re feeling “sturdy”, or have tons of tissues…

        No, I haven’t seen it. Sounds good…

It really is–though “animated”, it’s much deeper than a cartoon.
