Thank you! Yes, we have had more snow than usual for this early in the season – it came in October and hasn’t really left! A little early for me – it makes the season feel so long by spring – but lots of photo fodder, that’s for sure!
It has witnessed so much pain and sorrow and strife – a sobering thought, indeed! But – it has also seen joy, triumph, hope! And it waits in eager anticipation for the day all will be put to rights – we can cling to that, can’t we?
New to your work via Rife, Melody. Love love love it. Love the spirit of it as well. Clearly your roots are finding deep, pure water these days from which to drink. Quenches my own thirst and leaves me longing for more.
Absolutely unedited, too – an amazing sunset! I RAN (and shocked my dog greatly, I’m sure) to the house to grab my camera one day after work, to catch it. The run was worth every side-stitch, too… ๐
Gorgeous sunset. The sun might be benevolent and tell us of all the wonderful happenings in human history. I think for every ghastly evil moment there are thousands upon thousands of wonderful moments and acts of kindness. Is that too optimistic?
My guess? “Not again!”
Hmmm – all too possible for my comfort…very likely true!
Your posts are always so lovely! And great photography, too! Looks like you have received quite a bit of snow so far. ๐

The question at the end is a powerful one which we need to stop and ask of ourselves.
Thank you Melody
Thanks Ivon! A very sobering thought, isn’t it?
I hope that it might be able to say that it was half full? Doubtful…
Blessings ~ Wendy

Wow – thanks so much, Gwen. Take away with you as much as you need – and use it to quench others!! ๐
More like what would it not say…
A great post & WOW – What a picture!
This one needed no editing – it may be the best I have ever taken, at least right up there, as far as raw material…thanks Rosy. ๐
Scandalously beautiful sunset photo!!

Ooooh, painful–what we won’t do for our art!!
*giggle* So true! Amazonian about our poetry, we are! ๐
I rather like that, “Amazonian”–kind of goes with the new name I received recently, “Commando Caddo”. Coming soon to a theater near you!
Everything and nothing – simultaneously…
It would certainly be an interesting conversation! ๐
Exactly…

No, I think it is a lovely thought. Perhaps the sun has ways of seeing the good and right and just things, and stores them up to power herself! ๐
Oh yes, that is a wonderful thought.
