Even Wilted Flowers Know

Even wilted flowers know to lift their gaze to Heaven; even broken blossoms sense that hope is heart’s best leaven. Even drooping posies dream of living ever after; Even frozen florets feel the warmth of angels’ laughter.

Even drooping posies dream

of living ever after;

Even frozen florets feel

    This year has been really difficult for me and this picture and poem in a way remind me of that, but in a good way. Though the flower is wilting (or in my case struggling), but it doesn’t give up. The lines:

    even broken blossoms sense
    that hope is heart’s best leaven.

    Are woke spoke to me the most. I really enjoyed this post, it made my day. 🙂

      Thanks Felicia! I’m sorry that this year has been a tough one… As we struggle along, the very hope that keeps us going also makes our struggle beautifying! Keep looking up! 🙂

    This reminds me of the Psalms that say, oh my soul, why are you cast down? You answer us with “even wilted flowers know” to look up and hope yet in God! God bless you, Melody!
