Luminosity Candy-Flossed

willowsnowblower

If you’re under such unbearable pressure

that your cells explode,

sombre soul snow-shrapnel

hurled from toothsome tines,

do take the time

to look about you

as you arc through baby blue skies;

your tears

are rainbows,

luminosity candy-flossed,

and you

are

beautiful…

Sunlight, moisture, and the throb of a mighty engine -a recipe for gorgeous! ย My husband was busy with the snow-blower this week, and I was thrilled to see the arcing rainbows and glittering waves of colour darting about among those hapless snowflakes. ย  What a vibrant lesson on finding beauty in even those difficult places in our lives!

      I got quite a few shots of this whole blowing snow thing – it went straight to my heart, somehow, those rainbows born out of cold and difficulty. Thank you, Caddo…

      Thanks! And all that pink is ‘au naturel’, not edited at all. I love how the rainbow principle works with snow as well as rain – I have never, in all my years of prairie winters, seen that… (Well, except for ‘sun dogs’, which are tiny rainbows on each side of the sun when there are enough ice crystals in the air. This was different.) ๐Ÿ™‚
