Barren Womb

Barren womb of curse-cold earth, embryo of soul’s rebirth; winter breeds the hottest hopes, where faith weds life and grace elopes.

When there’s no way to go but up, the rise is meteoric! 🙂

Oh no, that sounds like a “science” lesson–and I have such a horrid headache. Teasing. I was actually thinking of something else, related to winter breeding lots of autumn babies!

Pic reminds me of Star Wars. Thought I saw an Imperial Walker out there… Nice theme. Out of barren wombs have come prophets, kings, nations and epic sagas. Never underestimate the power of the barren womb…

The hick is back! First, great photo. I loved your opening line Barren womb of curse cold earth mainly because I hate the cold and your words summed up this feeling perfectly. I have spent most of the day outside bringing in a bushcord of wood that left me chilled to the bone. I am so done with winter,

This time of year I start getting antsy for Spring!! But think of how precious that warm sunshine is, after a cold winter – we all have a deeper appreciation, after hauling in all that wood! 🙂

I do love your snow pictures. The combination of snow and sunlight is magical. We rarely get it, so seeing your photos is always lovely! Thanks for sharing!
