    C’mon spring…

We had a few days of spring – FINALLY. But – today Mother Nature gave us winter temps & a few snowflakes. Her April Fools joke ain’t funny.

Looks tricky; a real obstacle course.

I declined running the inaugural time trial for -er, personal reasons… 🙂

I think I would have declined too.

Fun haiku and fantastic photo! Melody, I like the depth in the picture that draws my eyes into the background.

Thanks Wendy! I think she is getting ready to run – cool this week, but everyone is gearing up for a flood and digging ditches and trenches to get ready for warmer temps next week… It should be interesting! 🙂

With all the snow I’ve been seeing in your posts I was kinda wondering how spring meltdown was going to look. Are you on high ground where you live?

We’ve had trouble with water in our basement in the past few wet springs – hopefully it won’t be too bad… The RMs are gearing up – the past few years, roads and bridges have been damaged in spring run-off. It is only a temporary inconvenience, usually – but I imagine our taxes will need to go up to cover the cost of fixing things…

Our town gets some flooding when there is a high tide and heavy flow from the river. We are up the hill slightly so we’re okay that way. But I am amazed our basement is okay with all the rain we get here… our home was built in the 40s. I hope your place stays dry dear friend.
