I wish people realized just how much of the scripture was written either in narrative or poetry. I think we’d have a rather different view of God, don’t you think?
I never thought of it quite that way before – you’re right!
What a better way to woo us into intimate friendship than with beautiful words. We, as poets, get to participate in both the friendship and the wooing.
