Awesome!!!
Thanks Alastair!
Oh those wickedly sharp icicles again.
🙂 I’m afraid there will be a few more weeks of these – and then, watch out!
Wow, incredible photo and haiku! Is this in your yard, or town?
I have a HUGE yard – lots of fodder for the camera. This is in my yard, where snow has built up on a gravel pile. (The same place where the ‘gargoyles’ reside)…
Wow-ee Wow
can’t wait to check out your devo blog …
Oooh, thanks Heidi! I started that one before this – but found I wanted to write other things, too, and they didn’t fit over there.
I love what you are seeing in this! Thank you!
There are interesting sights wherever I look! Thanks, Debbie! 🙂
Melody, I hope you are experiencing a “changing of the guard” weather wise… although I love your icicle photos! Nice Haiku too!
Blessings ~ Wendy
The snow is slowly seeping away – SO slowly it is hard to tell unless your eyes are watching for it! We are forecasted some above zero temps, too – YAY!
I looked at your other blog and you have some amazing pictures and writing there, friend! You make winter look wonderful!
Thanks, Wendy! It is rather wonderful, really. Each season is! Each has a splendour of its own. (But each should know its place, and take turns nicely!) 🙂
Yes, I guess winter is a bit of an attention hog this year…!
I’m pretty sure there’s a poem in there, Wendy! 🙂
Go for it – I’m too busy battling slugs and dandelions. 😉 Perhaps you have a snowbank that looks like a big hog?
Ha! I’m sure to find one, if I look for it! 🙂
I like the photo/poem combination, Melody.
Russ
Thanks Russ! I usually work from an image and let my imagination interpret it for me. If someone else out there ‘gets it’, it’s icing on the cake!
