Oh no. The swallowing his own press line was one that got me. I think there may be something about growing up in the prairies that has made me averse to those egomaniacs who seek the limelight.
It’s sure a world far-removed from our reality! It’s those hard-working, community-minded roots that have built our province and kept it ‘real’.
This poem is so stereotypical L.A. :). Not my LA, which is all about spiritual growth (and that is a big community here), but the LA of shallow pleasures, you know?
Yes, I know what you mean. There is much in our world that is all about the shallow pleasures, when we could be diving so much deeper. Thanks for your wise words!
