In the Center

In the center of her soul is a garden;

In the center of the garden is a tree.

In the center of the tree, is a bouquet;

In the center of the bouquet, is a bud.

In the center of the bud, is the choice for good and evil;

In the center of the choice, is her soul.

In the center of her soul is a garden…

    Melody,
    Beautiful picture and insightful words.
    The heart, the very center of our thoughts, feelings, and emotions…needs constant attention…otherwise we make wrong and yes evil choices that determine the course of our lives.
    Thanks for sharing!

    Gorgeous. And what is the lovely flower?

  13. Melody, I really like this poem! it’s deep and circular. I like the idea of a garden in our souls. Among the numerous definitions of that place, this is a convincing one. yes.

  14. I didn’t think your poetry cold get better, but it has. This is excellent.
