Day is dying, dignified,
slipping slow to sleep;
Night is sighing, signified
by a darkness deep.
Work is over, tasks complete,
hands allowed to rest;
Clouds are nodding as they greet
sunset in the west.

Thank you!! 🙂
A gentle ending to the day. And hey, we can see the red barn without snow!
Yippee!!!
So, as clouds are nodding, I am going to my home just now! For today, I can stop work!

Sweet dreams! 🙂
I’m ready to set with the sun.
Me, too! Sweet dreams!
Each word is so apt!
Thank you!
You really should put a chapter-book of your poems together and submit it to a publisher. Your work is wonderful!
Thanks, Elizabeth. That’s actually the plan. Eventually. 🙂
