Pink are her cheeks, in an August-moon glow,
Pink is the blush of her maidenly smile;
Daintily stepping, her pretty pink feet
Carry her many a pretty pink mile.
Sunset paints rainbows on eventide’s brow,
Staining her world in cathedral-pink hue;
Pink are the thoughts which she ponders the while
As powder-pink clouds wash her hair with pink dew.
Lovely, just lovely!
Thank you very much!
Melody, this is definitely pretty in pink in both words and picture.
Thanks Wendy. How is your summer going? Disappearing, probably as fast as mine is…
It has been our sunniest summer since moving to the island 25 years ago. The ocean breezes are keeping it from getting too hot. Like you are, I’m noticing the time flying as swiftly as the seagulls around here… π
Perfection in pink π
π Just so!
Gorgeous!
I wish you an awesome weekend!
Flowery!
Thank you! I am happy to be back among my flowers after a little holiday….
Another beauty! π
A kin of yours, perhaps?? π

fresh to my eyes and sherbet to my tongue~ I’ve missed reading you but, I’ve been hospitalized for a week ~ it’s great to be back. xo
Oh, oh. I’m so sorry to hear that. π¦ I’ve been away for a week, too, and am just starting to get caught up. Hope you’re feeling better today!
Very nice pink. Last week I was shopping and saw some hot pink duct tape–I nearly bought a roll, but elected to turn off the computer instead. See you ’round, Mel.
I have a hammer with a handle wrapped in pink tape – very handy for letting out a little aggression in a socially acceptable manner… π
I like it!!
I thought you just might…
