Ohhhhh, this is my new FAVE, Mel!!! I want this one for my keepsake file, ok?

    1. melodylowes

Okay! How have you been? I haven’t been around much lately… 😦

      1. bennetta faire

Yeah, I noticed–playing in the garden, or got the blues??

      2. melodylowes

Working my behind off to get ready for school. Going back full-time – so not sure how much poetry will get written… ??

      3. bennetta faire

Oh wowza, full time? Is that by your choice/desire? You’ll be surprised–poems have a way of insisting on being written…could be on your restroom or lunch break.

      4. melodylowes

I have been off work for a while – last year went back part-time. Now by faith I return to my place in the world – but now that the poems have been let out, I may just have to do some lunchroom writing, for sure! 😉

  2. russtowne

I especially love your first line!

    1. melodylowes

Thanks Russ! How are those twins doing??

Love the photo, love the flowers, love the words; just lovely. When you say going back to school, do you mean you will be teaching or studying?

    1. melodylowes

Teaching. I teach K,1,2 – busy but fulfilling. I have an extra load since my classrooms were emptied out for re-painting. But I’m getting closer to student-ready every day! We have had meetings and meetings – and did I mention the meetings? – students are back after the weekend.

      1. Gallivanta

Ah, students will be more fun than meetings. 🙂

      2. melodylowes

Absolutely! They have a knack of doing and saying the most unpredictable and delightful things imaginable… 😀

  5. Debbie

This is exceptional, Melody! Best wishes as you gear up for school!

    1. melodylowes

Thanks Debbie! I’m going full-bore, getting things put back in place after being emptied out for re-painting has held me back, but I’m slowly but surely getting ready. 🙂

  6. Pam

I’ve missed your posts. Good to see you back and know you’re ok – just super busy!

    1. melodylowes

Thanks, Pam! Yes, I sure don’t have the time or energy to devote to my cyber-life just now. I’m hoping that once things settle in a bit I can strike a better balance. I’m missing it…

  7. Seb

Now that’s MY kind of stairway to heaven!

    1. melodylowes

I was actually thinking of that line as I pondered that photo. Thanks, Seb!

Thank you! Poetry is truly the language of the heart, isn’t it?

  9. RoSy

    Simply…Beautiful!

    1. melodylowes

Thanks Rosy! Nice to ‘see’ you! I haven’t been able to pop in here as much as I would like – am back to work full-time and have to be cautious about my energy expenditures these days. I haven’t forgotten you yet, so not to worry!

      1. RoSy

Have been missing you. Darn life outside of the WP – LOL
Take it easy & I will catch you when you get a chance to post or stop by. I don’t get here as much as I used to & with more kid activities & school starting back next week – I doubt I’ll ever get back to posting – every day. Life happens… 🙂
Congrats on your FT job & best to you with your new schedule. xo

        Thanks Rosy!
