Can’t see the buds for the blossoms, Can’t find the leaves for the trees; Can’t think the thought for conundrums, Can’t hear the hum for the bees. Can’t view the sun for the shadows, Can’t feel the thorns for the hurt; Can’t convict death for the gallows, Can’t taste this bliss for the dirt.
