Vision Revision

Cut away the cataracts, Blast to bits the blur; Move the membrane from my eyes, Flay the film incurred From these perceptions, faulty sense Which lies from eyes to brain; I want to see You as you are, Not through the mist of rain. *

Cut away the cataracts,

Blast to bits the blur;

Move the membrane from my eyes,

Flay the film incurred

From these perceptions, faulty sense

Which lies from eyes to brain;

I want to see You as you are,

Not through the mist of rain.

    Oh man, Melody–this is too good, just too good–WOW. I can print it just for my “keepsakes” file, right? God bless you abundantly–love, sis Caddo

      Yep! I had a tough time getting the pic to post on this one – not sure why. Glad you could see it!

        Just in case I confused you–all I wanted was the poem, the photos don’t print out for me, which is fine. love, Caddo

        No, I got you – I was just fresh from 3-4 revisions trying to get the silly pic to post for me, so obviously my ADD kicked in at that precise moment.

        Oh, I Hate when that happens!!! I did like the pic, though–and I’ve forgotten which one proved a disappointment when it didn’t print with the super poem, but I figured it was a copyright issue. Could be a WP issue, though. Doesn’t matter, I’m too tired and depressed to care tonight (oh dear, my veil completely slipped that time!)–pre full moon craziness, Big-Time (all the monsters get loose and torment me). Why am I telling you this? I don’t know. I’ll go look for that Adele person I mentioned earlier, in case you want to check out her blog…

        This too shall pass…this I know, my friend. Remember Whose you are tonight!

      5. Caddo Veil

        That is a true and perfectly beautiful reminder–a million thank yous!

    Oh good, I’m not brain dead after all: http://adelekonyndyk.wordpress.com/2012/07/24/a-poem-for-the-impatience-possessed. Let’s see if this works!
