Morning Light

Morning light steals into view, Waking senses come to life; Day arises, dressed in blue, Taking slanted rays as wife. Fresh perspective, fresh refrain, No mistakes to cast their gloom; Dawning sun with all to gain, Rises now with hope in womb.

Morning light steals into view,

Waking senses come to life;

Day arises, dressed in blue,

Taking slanted rays as wife.

Fresh perspective, fresh refrain,

No mistakes to cast their gloom;

Dawning sun with all to gain,

Rises now with hope in womb.

    Melody, this is the height of blogger cheese protocol, I know. Please forgive me. But I wrote something similar just this morning. Let’s compare notes: http://robslitbits.com/2012/09/10/hope-arising/

      Hey – I’ve done that myself, so if I have been cheesy, I guess I’m in good company!! 🙂

    I LOVE that the day takes slanting rays of sun as a wife–that is pure Brilliance, Melody!! Refreshingly unique–I wish I’d thunk it!! And you have that wonderful garden “cross” in there too! God bless you, dear heart–love, Caddo

      I love how my arch has been transformed now in my mind into that cross – how precious to walk beneath it!

    How nice to read this in the morning with a cup of tea! Love it. especially the last sentence: Dawning sun with all to gain, Rises now with hope in womb.
    So much brilliance is to come!
