Right – it’s as good an excuse as any! 🙂

The colours were so astonishing on that shrub, just for a day or two, that I couldn’t resist. (Not that I know very much about Mardi Gras… ) 🙂

I was gonna ask you ’bout that! I didn’t think Canada had Mardi Gras, but you never know…there’s probably something closely akin to it. People everywhere love to party!!

        Especially that Caddo Veil character…

Well, true–must be my half-Cajun side (Mardi Gras in my blood, cher!)

        Nice! 🙂

PS–Melody are you familiar with Maria Rose Thomas Tatham? Her blog is Christian Fantasy for Women, I think–anyhow, she has a poem (“Autumn 3”–I think) that you’d love–it reads like an amalgam of what you and I would write!

I AM familiar with Maria – I’ll look it up!!

This was fun and bright! That bush was decked out . ..so glad you got to capture it. God bless you!

Thank you Debbie – it was so unusual. Just for a day or two, and then the frost turned it all brown – but it was enough to be caught on camera!

    What spectacular color. Amazing.

Isn’t it? Some things are just begging to be recorded for posterity, right? 🙂
