Cathedral Window

Emblazoned on cathedral wall,

Artist’s hand in sponsor’s Hall

Creates the leaded, crafted glass

That deftly lets the sunlight pass

Through shards of heavy tinted panes,

But turns away the autumn rains.

OF course, I took the cue for this from our collaborative work – just a little different take on it. The idea of stained glass was your baby! 🙂

How quickly “old folks” forget! I should check my early posts, see if I’m unintentionally rewriting them! I so love stained glass windows–I’ll have to see if I can find one I bookmarked; I don’t recall the subject, but it was beautiful.

I’m pretty sure I’ve re-done topics – but if you find fresh voice and face for them, maybe the topic wasn’t finished yet, and needed more air time? 🙂

Wonderful composition of words and imagery. It goes to a different place.

Finally got to view this aside from all the wonderful comments. God the Creator, reflected on the Cathedral Window for all to see. Oh I can hear the angels’ glee.
