Dare to be you,
to stand out in the crowd,
dare to let vulnerable places bleed;
dare to own talents, and use them out loud,
dare to choose kindness, and make it your creed.
Dare to set boundaries, walls built with gates,
dare to bar evil, while letting good through;
dare to have faith in your positive traits,
dare to grow beautiful,
dare to be YOU!
Another great post & awesome photo!
Thanks Rosy!
Great line: “dare to let vulnerable places bleed” – and so hard to do! xo
You are so right – that one is the toughest! Thanks you for sharing your vulnerability with us – a beautiful thing! 🙂
Great encouraging verse.
Thanks!
I love the geometry!
I wasn’t planning on it, until I posted the final line. The original had the first two lines on one, but I had to change them when I realized what was ‘taking shape’! 🙂
Love it…dare to be you…dare to be vulnerable…and I would add:
Dare to trust God in whatever season of life you’re in. Thanks for sharing, Melody!
Great advice… whatever season you are in. Hmmmmm… timely words of wisdom for me, this day! Thanks Glenda!
Daring to be ourselves may seem risky; but it is the healthiest choice in the end. I love your poem!
Blessings ~ Wendy
You’re so right – thank you, Wendy!
The maturity was chiseling my way of doing things, so I am more daring to do what I want.
Go for it!! 🙂
I love this daring poem! What have we got to lose? 🙂 God bless brave and beautiful you!
Thank you Debbie! I’m not feeling especially brave tonight… maybe an early bedtime for me? 🙂
I think it takes great courage to just be yourself because that makes you vulnerable to at times a very cruel world. Jesus experienced that crueltiy and so will his children if they dare to follow him. But if they are brave they will experience first hand the love of a savior that comforts them, strengthens them,and transforms them into better people. I can see by your writing that you are one such person take care God Bless
Wow – thanks. I am one of those being transformed – a difficult, exciting, and awesome process!
Amen Sister!
