Hope Is Evergreen

Hope is evergreen, juniper under snow, roots splitting cement to grow oaks in a concrete jungle. Hope breathes under water, snatches fodder from the fire, counts shooting stars in the fog, paints masterpieces without a brush. Hope lives in prisoner’s eyes, feeds the hungry, declares poverty a crime, because Hope is evergreen.

Hope is evergreen,

juniper under snow,

roots splitting cement

to grow oaks in a concrete jungle.

Hope breathes under water,

snatches fodder from the fire,

counts shooting stars in the fog,

paints masterpieces without a brush.

Hope lives in prisoner’s eyes,

feeds the hungry,

declares poverty a crime,

because Hope is

evergreen.

The touch snow in your pictures looks amazing. I just don’t want it here yet. I will continue to apprecaite it from afar 😉

Today a lot of it melted – but I’m afraid the onslaught is inevitable… Enjoy your non-snow moments! 🙂
