  1. This would make a lovely lullaby, especially for my older one who loves the snow.

    Wow-Wonderful photo and verse–magical, enchanting!

I wish I could transport you here just for a bit to see what this magical land looks like – before the wind blows it all away and the salt trucks wreck everything… πŸ™‚

      • Caddo Veil says:

I get to enjoy it vicariously through your fab photos, Melody–I see me falling down up there, and you having to call out the big machinery to get me up and mobile again–big laughs all ’round!!

      • melodylowes says:

‘Help, I’ve fallen in Melody’s garden, and I can’t get up” style? That’s an old classic up here… *snort*

      • Caddo Veil says:

At least that bad, and funny! Very snort-worthy, I promise!

      • melodylowes says:

        \I could use a good snort or three… πŸ™‚

      • Caddo Veil says:

You want ’em with alcohol, or not??

      • melodylowes says:

Now you stop that – I’m bound to have an aneurysm or something! πŸ™‚

      • Caddo Veil says:

Snorting with laughter, here–I’m sorry (not), I’m just a wild child in my mind, sometimes. Hey, I just made a pot of split pea soup with cut up Summer Sausage in it–want some? I’m gonna go have a blog-rest and eat some nourishment (finish off the pineapple I wrote about–it is so good, I think I could live on fresh pineapple..). Then, I’ll think about putting the flannel sheets on the bed…yawn.

      • melodylowes says:

Oooh, flannel sheets! My winter favourite! πŸ™‚
