Spearmint has always been my fave mint, so I really love this, Melody!! And the “keep your chin up” blah blah blah (smile!), reminds me of a wonderful woman who gave me so much before she passed in April, at the ripe age of 90–she did not share our beliefs/faith, but she was a positive spirit for sure and would always ask me, “are you cheerful?” It was just a joke for many years–but I’m happy to say that in the last year of her life, I had finally gained true cheerfulness: a revelation of Jesus’ JOY. Maybe she didn’t “get it”, but she was grateful that my dark decades were finally over. Wow, I’m rambling and it’s not even noon yet…
Caddo rambles always welcome, any time of the day! 🙂 Nice when we learn those tough life lessons and come out of the stormy patches with more grace than we went into them with, eh? 🙂
I was so glad, and relieved, when I realized God wasn’t the type to say, “thank heavens!–it took you long enough!”
No – WE are the ones who impose that on ourselves when we have been more daft than usual – with Him, it is ‘THAT’S my girl!’ 🙂
