Thanks Wendy! 🙂 The night before, I didn’t stop what I was doing and run for my camera, although I could see that it was shaping up to be a spectacular sunset. I thought ‘I’ll catch the next one’ – and missed out. A little life lesson there perhaps? Not every sunset it spectacular – we have to enjoy them as they come, with no expectations!
I’ve certainly been there a few times. There was an old barn I kept driving by, and then one day I brought my camera. But it was too late as instead of finding the old barn – I spied a large burn pile in progress… Live & learn! 😉
Ouch! Life is worth recording, isn’t it? I can’t believe what fun it is to capture it with a camera – I have wasted so many years not seeing…

I can see you painted purple, actually – a great look for you! 🙂
Maybe a kind of “dusky” purple–not the loud shouting purple. I realize that might go with my personality these days, but my natural coloring has faded, so subtle would probably look better!
