The Winter Place

Sapphire snow and liquid gold, warming thoughts when life gets cold; heart draws strength from stored-up grace, to live well through the winter place.

Sapphire snow and liquid gold,

warming thoughts when life gets cold;

heart draws strength from stored-up grace,

to live well through the winter place.

    Funny…I never think of storing up grace…that reminds me of manna hoarded.. grace comes daily for me in the mercy drops, new each day to meet the daily need…..

      A lovely perspective… stored manna goes bad. What happens to stored grace? 🙂

    Seeds remain for new spring and new life unending…
    If she had dropped them, cold and snow could have harmed them.
    So she holds on to her pearls and will not cast them before swine.
    Or perhaps she’s hoarded a bottle of wine
    and will have a merry old time…
    But I’d rather think she is divine. 😉 E

      Me too – some days seem to call for more, don’t they?

    A warm wonderful feel – even in the cold!

    1. melodylowes

      That’s Rosy – she has pink-tinted glasses that don’t let her feel the cold! 😉

      It is always sufficient unto the day – whether we feel it there or not. Oh, so much to learn…
