We often say the most with the least, don’t we? An editor friend of mine has been coaching me to simplify my writing. It’s actually been a gratifying experience. Nicely done.
A fiend of mine recently got back from Hawaii and brought me my kryptonite – macadamia nuts! And to add to their decacence – some are chocolate-dipped! YUMMMM! ๐ A rather more fattening pursuit than haiku…
There is a whole flock of them in my garden – I am getting a lot of joy in sneaking up on them from time to time! (You’ll have to picture me in spy mode lurking about in the bushes to appreciate the visual…)
That bird looks so fluffy and fat and very cute. Little creatures are priceless too. They give so much joy.
They sure do! It is a very refreshing thing to pause in a busy day and watch for these little fellows…
Beautiful.
Thank you!

Thanks! Sometimes it’s hard to know when to leave a piece alone – we like to add an editorial to the idea! ๐
I sure do! I’m seriously trying to pare things back and aim at the heart as much as the head. Good work.
It’s a good learning curve – applying human effort to divine gift. Plenty of good stuff in the process!
Amen, sistah.
Nicely done Haiku, Melody! Freedom is wonderful!
Blessings ~ Wendy
Thank you! Thanks for the nudge toward haiku – I realized I haven’t done one of these for quite a while, and they have a charm all of their own…
I’m finding they also have an addictive quality to them much like chocolate! ๐

My tummy just growled! Enjoy!
