That bird looks so fluffy and fat and very cute. Little creatures are priceless too. They give so much joy.

They sure do! It is a very refreshing thing to pause in a busy day and watch for these little fellows…

We often say the most with the least, don’t we? An editor friend of mine has been coaching me to simplify my writing. It’s actually been a gratifying experience. Nicely done.

Thanks! Sometimes it’s hard to know when to leave a piece alone – we like to add an editorial to the idea! 🙂

I sure do! I’m seriously trying to pare things back and aim at the heart as much as the head. Good work.

It’s a good learning curve – applying human effort to divine gift. Plenty of good stuff in the process!

Thank you! Thanks for the nudge toward haiku – I realized I haven’t done one of these for quite a while, and they have a charm all of their own…

I’m finding they also have an addictive quality to them much like chocolate! 😉

      2. melodylowes

A fiend of mine recently got back from Hawaii and brought me my kryptonite – macadamia nuts! And to add to their decacence – some are chocolate-dipped! YUMMMM! 🙂 A rather more fattening pursuit than haiku…

        My tummy just growled! Enjoy!

Did you mean how I am coping with 2013? Oh, I’m paying my dues. Slow start, but getting there, Hehe. 🙂

I love this bird! Does he keep coming by your house?

    1. melodylowes

There is a whole flock of them in my garden – I am getting a lot of joy in sneaking up on them from time to time! (You’ll have to picture me in spy mode lurking about in the bushes to appreciate the visual…)
