Transition time, to be sure. I hope and pray that this next phase will have as much joy involved as all the other parenting stages. Each step has its share of trials and joys, doesn’t it?
I agree! I’m an older parent, and one of my friends has been through it all already and assures me that it gets even better as she is a close buddy with her daughter now, even more than before.
