When Winter Thaws

Sparkle-shadows hem you in, Marshmallow caps where growth has been; Wait, my soul, be still, and pause, Spring will bloom when Winter thaws.

what an encouragement in the middle of winter … when spring seems still so far away (here in WI anyway) thanks!!!!

Yes, it still is winter – but we know the promise of spring remains! I’m trying not to growl too much when I see a posting of daffodils blooming, when we are still many weeks away from our first blooms here… 🙂 A lesson in patient hope, yes?

Yes, waiting … not something I do well 😦

I love winter so, I’m not bothered by the pause the earth requires ~ beautiful poetry !

Our lives need the pause that nature builds in – night, seasons, overcast days – whether we are wise enough to take heed or not! Thanks for your encouragement…

I love “sparkle-shadows” especially–it’s like what you were talking about in some of mine, contrary words that “Work” for a perfect image. I can see it easily–and dare say my shadows do wear sparkles these days!
