Exhale Slow

Exhale slow, lest breath gets lost,

Breathe in deep when, laced with frost,

 Shallow gasps burn timid lungs,

Melt the tips from dripping tongues.

I wonder if this is a “science” one, as I got lost…sorry.

Don’t apologize – I got lost writing it, and almost didn’t post it. I wondered what sort of feedback I’d get – yours tells me my instinct was right on this one! 🙂

I just figured there was something really deep in there–and my cognitive battery was low. It’s always risky to tell the author you don’t understand, so thanks for being so kind! You usually say that “deep calls to deep” between us, so one off day’s not bad, eh?

        *Grin* Absolutely! 🙂

Love how your muse is always in synch with what your eye captures!

The photo is amazing with this poem! Thanks Melody!

  6. to me, everything has a spiritual definition and, everything is spiritual in this poem…gasps has an awestruck sense whether in beauty or if there’s something misunderstood ~ dripping tongues, to me, this is speech, subtle words, whispering and it can hold any type of message ~ great !

  7. I am enjoying a few hours in my Saturday to catch up with my favorite writers. You always delight me.
