March elopes with dreams of Spring
and calendars begin to sing
of fairer climes and warmer days –
Winter’s stuck in an illiterate phase…

Summer is stuck in a repetitious phase around here!
It sounds lovely… sigh. 🙂
To be honest, it is becoming tiresome.
Oh dear, life is harsh for winter at this time of year. I think you are secretly glad that he’s lost his literacy.
🙂 I’ll never tell…
that is making me feel hopeful, … while staring at my garden still buried under a really thick blanket of white … I think, I get a blowtorch out today …
Ha ha! Give it an extra blast, on my behalf! 🙂
So Spring is knocking on your door too 🙂 That’s awesome, I can hardly wait for you to praise it through your lovely poems and beautiful pictures 🙂
Hugs
Thanks Petro! We have a LOT of snow to melt, and the temps have dropped (again) this week – but it’s on its way! Hugs back to you and Ellie….
Chuckling, because I was expecting something totally different–a non-poetic post about a subject I, too, am passionate about. But I do love the poem–especially that March “elopes”, and with dreams–ahhh, yes!!
🙂 Thanks, Caddo! 🙂
I was thinking like Caddo! haha! So what fun to find this poem with that intro! 🙂
I must admit to smirking as I typed in that title… 🙂
I’m ready to read spring! 😉
I am, too! 🙂
