A Close Shave

Snow in sculpted swirls is laid against the cheek of earth’s domain; lathered foam in sun and shade protects the stubble that remains beneath the banks of shaving cream, where life and breath desire to grow;  lay the strop to winter’s seam, and shave her close, to spring below.

🙂 Not even in all your lathering? I thought of it after doing an art project with my students using shaving cream and paint – there was a poem hiding in all that mess!
