She’s always underfoot,
she gets in my hair,
she smothers my sidewalk
and obscures the air.
Her habit of blanketing
my windshield in white
is no longer funny –
I think it quite trite.
She outright refuses
to melt or to leave –
revenge is my hairdryer
shoved up my sleeve…
hahahhh so, the revenge is a hairdryer?! It is must challenge the snow!
Ha ha! How long do you think it will take me to melt my yard?? 🙂
She sure has!
🙂 That north wind was pretty chilly today, wasn’t it? *sigh*
Gettin’ mean toward Mother Nature. 🙂
I really don’t like to complain – but 6 MONTHS of snow? Sheesh…
Funny to see how the beauty of snow becomes ugly when overstaying her welcome…
I am REALLY over it. Today marks 6 months of continuous snow – blech.
We hit the six month point yesterday. We have now had snow on the ground since October 14, 2012. It is making the old adage of Canadian years being 10 months of winter and 2 months of poor sleighing seem more real.
I know! It’s a new Little Ice Age! 😦 Here’s to a warmer trend developing – that north wind today was CHILLY!
you’re a really jokester ! that’s hilarious !
🙂 I have to laugh or I might cry…
Melody, I love your sense of humor! I hope your winter takes a hike soon.
Blessings ~ Wendy
🙂 I have a feeling she doesn’t hike much…
You made me laugh, Melody! Go for it with that hairdryer!
Got any long extension cords for me to borrow? 😀
I want to see that little hair dryer in action. Too funny. But the snow is not.
I may need to borrow a few extension cords… 😀
Hey… whatever it takes, dear friend … blowtorches might do the job too!!! GO FOR IT… Love your sense of humor 🙂
hehe A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do… 😀
I can’t believe you still have so much snow–hello? It’s APRIL. Today felt like fall here, but I think I was just tired–hardly compares to your white situation. Hang tough.
More snow in the forecast – Argggghhh…
You’ve got to be kidding–the weather has truly gone stupid.
Another Ice Age? Surely not…
