You draw out her utmost, her highest, her deepest, You give her the courage it takes to stride on; Your beams warm her spirit, shine comfort, bedazzle, remove the confusion with breaking of dawn.

You draw out her utmost,

her highest,

her deepest,

You give her the courage

it takes to stride on;

Your beams warm her spirit,

shine comfort,

bedazzle,

remove the confusion

with breaking of dawn.

Maybe arriving a little windswept and the worse for wear – but definitely on our way!!!

Nice, a poetic tip of the hat to Oswald Chambers.

        Royal smartypants, we.

      3. Robert Rife

Indubitably. Champion, my good woman. Champion.

      4. Robert Rife

Shhh, don’t say “royal” too loud. These Americans are pretty anal about that kinda stuff.

      5. melodylowes

That one draws a guffaw. NOT ladylike at all.

      6. Robert Rife

Oh pshaw, don’t be silly, my good woman. Sometimes to guffaw is as natural as a robust passing of holy wind…(sighing, what did you think I meant?)

      7. melodylowes

😀 Totally and only sighing. Duh!

      8. Robert Rife

I never had any doubt, Melody. Never. Really.

These are very pretty. What kind of flowers are they? Are they from your garden?

    1. melodylowes

They are a low-growing groundcover plant called ‘spotted deadnettle’. Quite the name for such a pretty plant. They bloom most of the summer, and cover up the ugly places so beautifully. I just love them…
