I see you got pressed. Well deserved and earned. Nice to see someone with a decent blog getting credit. For however long it lasts. Like spilled perfume …
Yes it doesn’t appear to last long. I’ve noticed one day people get hundreds of comments from outer space, and the next post they are back to their usual number!
As I’m far too critical of WP (eg the Saturday Sarcasm post about peach chutney) I’m not expecting the blue badge in a hurry, and I have to say, the thought of replying to so many one-hit wonders would depress me!
Anyway, there are those of us who will continue to appreciate your photos and words.
Thanks. and you faithful ones with whom I interact regularly are the ones whose opinions and comments hold value. So don’t let the blue badge phase you! π
Don’t know about your part of the world, but where I come from, the blue badge is for disabled drivers ….
I’m used to brushing with fame. A couple of other blogs I follow have the accolade, one deserved, and the other is ok (ie better than most FP blogs) but nowt special. The good one is the more regular and more interesting commenter on mine.
Which reminds me, I’ve taken time out so I need to write a couple of posts!
I’ve only been following one with the FP fame – and it is one that I rarely miss – wonderful photography and pithy writing. Most of the blogs I’ve chosen to follow are of the more humble variety – but I love the interaction and writing I find in them. So – write away!
Pithy writing is good. I dislike pretentious and deliberately contrived prose. I fall asleep when I read ten adjectives in one sentence. But different things appeal to all of us. Just that mostly the FP ones don’t appeal to me. Reminds me of the UK honours (MBE, OBE etc) where they normally go to someone who has worked in the public sector for donkeys years or knows the right politician. Just occasionally the right person gets one.
Oops – I’d like that last bit back. Sounds like I’m labelling you one of the ‘humble variety’ – except that in this case, I mean it as a compliment! π
I would like to live more extravagantly, actually – in the right ways. Entering into life, and the joys and sorrows of others, with passion. I have much to learn…
That is gorgeous.
Thank you! π
Beautiful!
Thank you!

π Thanks. I think I’ll enjoy the temporary aroma, and keep plodding along in my own way. π

Quite, and I hold the same point of view.

Ah, the irony, the irony… π

It did indeed! I was just about to write that but you beat me to it π
Ahhh…
I hope you’re inhaling. ?? π
I just envisioned myself at His feet … I think I want to stay here π Thanks for that today, Melody.
What a beautiful place to be! A Mary in a Martha world… Count me in! π
Extravagant yet so exactly right.

Yes, in the right ways; it would be wonderful.
So beautiful–words and photo.
Thanks friend!
