She radiates joy. Joy
sizzles and pops around her,
a force field of Sun in
miniature, multiplied –
reflected off a thankful
heart; its power persists
in shadows, transcends
rainy days, stands true
through fog and storm
and cloud and clear skies
alike. Her secret?
She spends time in the Light…
she reminds me of yummy buttery popcorn… fabulous metaphor and spiritual light!
Mmm!!
Really loved this , Melody! Thank you!
Thanks Debbie!
YES! (But what is she, plant wise?)
It’s a lily just barely coming into bloom – the angle makes it look like a tulip, doesn’t it?
Ummm – oops. I forgot that I had written another one since the lily. This is a dwarf yellow honeysuckle shrub – the flowers are in clusters that look like tiny trumpets. Very pretty. Sorry for the misinformation… 😦
Had me confused for a moment. 🙂 I had to cast out my honeysuckle because it was taking over the garden/the house. No one told me there was a dwarf variety; sigh.
Oh I LOVE this–reflects how I am on good days. God bless you BIG.
Thank you! Oh, to STAY there… 🙂
It sounds wonderful to “stay there”–but then I’d be SO predictable!!
You? I think not…
Chuckling here.
