Mid Life Living

clematis fuzz

Summer’s hair is growing spare,

Her locks are going grey;

Her closet sports an orange theme

Since greener frocks are frayed.

Her temperature jumps back and forth

From warm to showing claws;

I wonder if her neighbours know

That she’s hit menopause?

    Ah…yes..menopause, actually if one doesn’t consider all you’ve said above, quite nicely by the way, plus a few other odds and ends…it’s not really bad at all! šŸ˜‰

    Sounds like where I’m heading. And – if all goes well – I’ll live long enough to see my whole head turn grey! For now – they are highlights šŸ™‚

    As I was reading this, the wind was blowing leaves across my roof with such vengence it sounded like a hail storm—-so much work ahead before what’s falling turns white. Some days it’s hard to remember the shade and gentle breezes that bring joy in other seasons…..
