Scurrying,
hurrying,
frantic to-do-worrying,
blind-eyed,
soul-dried,
blinkers block the view.
Slowing,
knowing,
intake of the blowing,
raising,
gazing,
comprehending blue.
Standing,
landing,
soul-to-sky expanding,
seeing,
freeing,
seeking golden dreams.
Stretching,
fetching,
drinking in the etching,
reclining,
aligning,
repairing at the seams.
I love this poem and photo, especially ‘soul-to-sky-expanding’ .
That’s one of my favourites, too! Thanks so much for you visits…
Yes, my seams often need the services of a good tailor. I come unravelled and unstitched quite a lot.
You too? ๐ I sure find nature a big help to getting myself stitched up again after I’ve become unglued…
Indeed.
Oh, I really enjoyed reading this! Happy Fall. ๐
Great! Thanks so much – Happy Fall right back!
Wonderful poem, Melody, and one I can also relate to…it’s amazing how the seams need repairing more often as I get older! ๐
Isn’t it? Maybe because our tolerance for stupid is declining. hehe All the more reason to get out in the beautiful world and be rejuvenated!
Another great poem Melody. It’s very catchy and extremely fast paced. I could do with a little repairing right now, I’m bursting at the seams. Breathe in I say to myself. Enjoy the rest of the evening.
I think we all get chewed on a bit in our fast-paced living – yes, breathe – and take the time to repair the damage done by stitching in a little ‘me time’ to your day if you can! I know I sure need it! Thanks once again for your visit and thoughtful response…
Seams should be unstitched! We should swell and be swept up by beauty, don’t you think we’d have so much more to proffer another? Faithfully Debbie
Perhaps you’re right! Another new viewpoint to add to the discussion. Thanks Debbie!
