And the colour wheel cranks out
its liturgy – opposites
make the best bedfellows,
draw out the richest blooming.
.
So too this heart, when double
crushed, rises atmospheric
to negate the blow. So too
this spirit, pinned to velvet
specimen case, dead carcass
to be pitied, inspected,
finds truest freedom within
its prison walls, flying high
above those who would take it
captive, coerce dignity,
boxing it in mere metal
and glass. Deepest pain reflects
truest beauty, once redeemed.
.
And the colour wheel cranks out
its curriculum – bluest
skies display the purest gold.
So they do, so they do 🙂
🙂 Is your spring fully sprung yet??
I do believe so, especially as it is a piping hot 29 degrees C today!!!
Nice! Half that BELOW zero here, today. 😦 Enjoy, on my behalf!
I will!
Redeeming the pain is sometimes so hard but so rewarding when it happens.
You’re so right. Learning how to make it count is so important…. Thanks Lyle.
Very well said and beautiful photo.
Thanks, Granny! 😉
I believe the body compliments the spirit and vice versa! Christ must’ve felt the same way to condescend to meet our black & blues and glorify them!
I think you’re right!
