Father Frost descends and nips
The world with frosty fingertips,
Nudging verdant green aside,
Dressing all in brilliant white.
.Β
Autumn colours kissed by cold
Now sink beneath his frigid hold;
Sleeping Beauties sigh farewell,
For death will never kiss and tell.
Oh I LOVE LOVE LOVE this one, Mel–5-Star wow-wonderful!
π Thanks Caddo. I have a soft spot for fairy tales….
Meeee tooo–though mine usually end sadly, oh well.
This is lovely, Melody! Father Frost has been to our garden this week as well…
Blessings ~ Wendy
Hoarfrost tonight – chilly, but pretty and sparkly….
Glad you are making the most out of the frost π
That’s not the half of it. Close to -30 tonight, with snow on the ground. *sigh* Winter is here to stay, I’m afraid. There was hoarfrost tonight, so I’m hoping to get some pretty pics in the morning. I need to remember to watch for the beautiful in it, and be careful to guard my attitude… π
You did well with last winter’s ice and snow, so I have faith in you π
(You think I just might make it through another??) π
Yep! Because when you feel frozen and despaired you can pop on over to my blog and be warmed by sunshine π
Nice! Sounds like a great prescription…
It’s what our doctors call a ‘green’ prescription. Do you have those in your medical system? We do, we really do.
Love this – but – not the cold π
Brrr! It’s been really cold the past few days – closer to normal for the weekend, I hear, so things are looking up!
Chill-frill smoothie! Wonderful !
π That sounds good enough to eat!!
this is extraordinarily beautiful !
Thank you very much!
